DOLPHINS! LOCATED IN HILTON HEAD'S BEST DOLPHIN AREA!

There's not a better or more peaceful way to get the opportunity to see dolphins up close than at water level sitting in one of our safe, stable and beginner friendly kayaks. We use quality Wilderness System kayaks that are very popular for those that own their own kayaks. They have a full seat and setback for your comfort.

We are located in Hilton Head's best dolphin area as many of Hilton Head's local dolphins spend their days feeding, playing and relaxing right by our departure point and because we are in the sheltered waters of the estuary we generally have the calmest waters in Hilton Head making for a relaxing journey. This calm water is a favorite place for mommy dolphins to raise their young too! In the summer months we often come across a visiting manatee and gear our tour towards a relaxing recreation experience that is fun for both beginner and experienced kayakers alike. Come join the fun!

What's Included

Everything you need is included in the price! The dolphins do not charge extra :)
Feel free to bring a picnic. You can bring whatever food or drinks you would like or feel free to stop by the pub for a beer, lemonade or ice tea! Food available as well at the Pub.

YOU MUST ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO TOUR TIME. The tour DEPARTS AT SCHEDULED TIME. The 30 minutes prior to are used to check in, get equipment and instruction. From Marina parking lot walk towards the water and look for the "Kayak Hilton Head Pier" located in the far right corner of the marina.

    Hilton Head

    On Tuesday evenings in the summer, our 2 hour evening sunset tour is followed by the Shelter Cove fireworks show! Appropriate for all experience levels and kids are of course welcome as well as we have single and double kayaks. Just like all of our tours we kayak through the beautiful salt marsh of Broad Creek, home to some of Hilton Head's friendliest bottlenose dolphins as well summer visiting manatee or an occasional surprise otter or sea turtle and many species of birds including bald eagle, osprey, egrets, herons, woodstock, roseate spoonbills and many others! At the end of our tour, just as the sun is about to set, for your safety we come back to the dock, often pull up a crab trap or catch a few shrimp for the kids and then enjoy the fireworks of Shelter Cove as they shoot off over the water just down from Broad Creek Marina. Bring drinks and snacks or pop into the pub before the fireworks shoot off to grab refreshments. It’s a great way to spend Tuesday night with your family!
