Port Said is a long way from the pyramids, about 3 hours by road, so a single shore day is mostly driving. This overnight tour fixes that with two full days in Cairo and a night in between.
Day one heads to the Giza Plateau for the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, with time at the Khan el-Khalili bazaar and an optional evening Sound and Light Show at the pyramids. Day two takes in the Egyptian Museum and the Citadel of Saladin, then a walk through Old Cairo before the drive back to your ship. 1Pyramids of Giza
Day one makes the drive from Port Said to the Giza Plateau, where the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple of Khafre stand at the desert's edge, 4,500 years old. In the afternoon you browse the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, Cairo's great medieval market of spice, brass, and lantern shops, before checking into your hotel. 2Great Sphinx
