Your journey begins with your domestic flight from Accra to Tamale. You will book your own round trip domestic flights and we will liaise with you to confirm the most suitable flight times.( we recommend first flights from Accra and last flight return) Upon arrival at Tamale Airport, your professional guide will meet you and transfer you to Mole National Park.
Enjoy an unforgettable walking safari led by an experienced park ranger, where you may encounter wild elephants at close range along with baboons, antelopes, warthogs and a variety of birdlife in their natural habitat.
Your cultural experience continues with a visit to a traditional Ghanaian village, where you will learn about local customs, daily life and the warm hospitality of the people of northern Ghana.
You will also visit the historic Larabanga Ancient Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in West Africa, and discover the fascinating history and legends surrounding this important national landmark.
Complete your experience with a visit to a local shea butter processing centre, where you will see the traditional methods used to produce Ghana's famous natural shea butter and have the opportunity to interact with the women who preserve this centuries old craft.
At the end of your safari, you will be transferred back to Tamale Airport for your return domestic flight to Accra.
