Spirit of Korkyra is a small, family-run business - not a franchise. Boris and Ivka built it from scratch, and Ivka grew up right here in Lumbarda.
We time this tour to end golden hour on the water - paddling past Vrnik's old stone quarries and Badija's monastery and free-roaming deer, before finishing at Gubavac as the light turns for sunset. It's the same route as our morning tour, but the light and pace make it a completely different experience.
Gubavac itself isn't reached by taxi boats or big group tours, so you get it quiet, with homemade Grk wine from our own family production in Lumbarda and traditional Klašun pastries to end the evening.
With a max of 10 guests, we adjust the pace to the group - this isn't a fixed script, it's shaped around who's paddling with us that evening.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Travelers staying in the old town of Korčula can be picked up at the main bus station in Korčula town 20 min before the tour starts.
Travelers staying in private apartments reachable by car can be picked up at their apartments at approx. 20 min before the tour starts.
Travelers staying in hotels reachable by car can be picked up at approx. 20 min before the tour starts.
We will notify our guests about the pickup-up time and location.
Guests ordering the pick-up will be notified about the time and location. Please keep in mind that it is usually 20 min before the tour starting time. The tour starts from Tatinja Bay in Lumbarda. The kayak storage rack is just 20 meters from restaurant Feral and 40m from pizzeria Torkul.
What to expect
From there, we take you through history while staying active in nature and at sea as the evening light begins to change. We paddle out to three small islands facing Lumbarda and Korčula: Vrnik, Badija, and Gubavac.
On Vrnik, we explore old limestone quarries - worked for centuries and still part of local tradition - and walk through the village to hear its stories.
On Badija, we walk around a 15th-century Franciscan monastery with a turbulent past that still holds its beauty, and meet the deer that roam freely.
On Gubavac, we slow down for the best part of the evening: watching the sun drop into the sea while swimming, relaxing, and tasting homemade Klašun pastries and Grk wine. This island isn't reached by taxi boats or big tour groups, so it stays quiet — perfect for ending the day.
In total, you'll paddle around 2 hours, with the rest spent on land, swimming, and relaxing.

- This is what you should take with you on the tour: a Lycra shirt or any t-shirt, light shorts, a hat, sunglasses, shoes that can get wet, e.g., flip flops or water shoes, towels, swimsuits, and water (1,5 liters minimum per person).
- Please note that according to Croatian law guests have to be 18 or older to drink alcohol. We will serve homemade juice for kids!
