    A marble sculpture created by the Lombard artist Floriano Bodini and placed in the gardens of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II in Brindisi. Commissioned in 1981 to celebrate the two thousandth anniversary of the poet's death, the work was inaugurated on March 27, 1986.

    The square takes its name from the Baroque church of the same name that overlooks it, in the square stands the Monument to the Fallen, built in the 1930s by the Brindisi artist Edgardo Simone, and the coat of arms of the city, depicted on the pavement of the square.
