Our Guide will meet you in your hotel in Dubai and drive to Al Ain after the brief introduction of Al Ain city. The city is the best place to learn about the history and culture of United Arab Emirate.
Our first stop will be the Al Ain Museum, where we'll discover the rich history and cultural heritage of the region. The museum showcases archaeological discoveries, traditional artifacts, and exhibits highlighting the history and lifestyle of the people of Al Ain and the UAE.
Your next stop will be Jahili Fort, established to protect the palm tree's in the region. The fort is one of the largest in the UAE. The defense opened its gate to the public in 2008 and has been one of Al Ain's significant points of interest. The impressive displays are the rare collections of photographs by British adventurer, desert explorer, and writer Wilfred Thesiger with a focus on his journeys into the Empty Quarter during the 1940s.
We will then move on to your next stop Al Ain Oasis, The UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011, spread across 3000 acres and provides a unique sight into the inhabitants of the region who began taming the deserts 4000 years ago. The oasis area has more than 147,000 date palm trees of different varieties. Its traditional Aflaj irrigation systems also define it, which carry fresh spring water from the Hajar Mountains. The new addition, Eco-Centre, helps the visitors to understand the site's Ecosystem, historical evolution, and the lifestyle of the people.
After exploring the oasis, we'll stop at a local restaurant for an international buffet lunch (water & soft drink included). Take some time to relax and enjoy a delicious meal before continuing the tour.
After lunch, we'll visit Jebel Hafeet Mountain, the highest mountain in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Enjoy the scenic drive up the mountain and take in spectacular panoramic views over Al Ain and the surrounding landscape. Don't forget your camera, as this is one of the most scenic highlights of the tour.
