Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with traditional Andean music and greeted by the Varayoc (community leader). Enjoy a cup of muna tea while introducing yourself and interacting with the hosts. You will then learn about the Andean weaving process, including wool preparation, natural dyeing, design, and weaving techniques. You will take part in the workshop with a local artisan, creating your own piece such as a bracelet, belt, or keychain. At the end, enjoy a traditional Andean snack made with local products.
