Due to the special nature of the ceremony, punctuality is important to fully enjoy the experience.
The meeting point will be at Plaza Regocijo, next to the central fountain. Our guide will be there and will also contact you before the tour starts. Additionally, the guide will call out the name of the person responsible for the reservation or the group to make the meeting easier.
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco or a designated meeting point. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with traditional music and a welcome drink, followed by a brief introduction to the Andean wedding ceremony. The couple changes into traditional attire and joins a wedding procession to the Andean altar located by Piuray Lake. The ceremony is led by an Andean priest, including an offering to Pachamama and the symbolic union ritual. Afterward, enjoy a toast, traditional wedding dance, and celebration with the community. Finally, visit the textile workshop to learn about the weaving process and have time to purchase handmade crafts before a farewell with traditional music.
