Everywhere you look in this charming beach town, you find history. And, that history is easiest to see on foot–when you have a chance to linger in front of a tiny, shingled house, perhaps, and meet the resident as he comes out into the yard to water his roses and tells you about the multiple generations who have lived in the home. Or, when you seemingly stumble upon the magical Wizard of Oz house.

This is an outdoor tour that stops at different architectural landmarks along Downtown Coronado and highlights some of the grand residences in the community. Tours are approximately three-quarters of a mile at a comfortable pace. They are appropriate for young and old, alike. This is an outdoor tour. Participants enjoy a 10% discount at the Coronado Historical Association Store.
