Discover the authentic heart of the High Atlas on this 4-day immersive trek through the traditional Berber villages of Atlas. Between green valleys, panoramic mountain passes and warm encounters with locals, this adventure takes you away from classic tourist circuits. You will sleep in authentic Berber cottages, share traditional home-cooked meals and walk on ancient trails connecting unspoilt villages. Accompanied by an experienced local Guide and a team of muleteers, you will live a unique human and cultural experience at the rhythm of the Moroccan mountains.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Arriving in Ourika around 10:00 a.m., the guide will join you to depart for the Berber villages and discover traditional life across the High Atlas mountain range and have lunch at a local's home.
What to expect
An authentic itinerary, ideal for hikers wishing to go off the beaten track and experience a real cultural immersion.
Day 1: Setti-Fatma – Anzro – Bouzgarne
Walking time: approx. 5h30
Day 2: Bouzgarne – Mountain pass – Chiker
Walking time: approx. 6h
Day 3: Chiker – Timichi (cultural immersion)
Walking time: approx. 4 to 5 hours
Day 4: Timichi – Setti-Fatma – Marrakech
Walking time: approx. 3 to 4 hours
