What to expect
Sail through turquoise waters to a beautiful sandbank, where you can swim, relax and snorkel with the provided equipment. Depending on weather and sea conditions, another snorkeling or reef stop may be possible.
Continue to Kwale Island for a freshly prepared seafood BBQ and tropical fruits. Vegetarian and other options can be arranged upon request. Explore the island, see its impressive baobab tree and enjoy time swimming and relaxing. Depending on the tide and sea conditions, you may also visit the mangrove lagoon.
In the afternoon, sail back to Fumba by traditional dhow before returning to Stone Town, arrival expected around 5:00 PM.
This full-day experience combines traditional sailing, snorkeling, a tropical sandbank, fresh local food and the natural beauty of Zanzibar’s coastline.
