    Opened in 1925, the Saenger Theatre is known as the “Grand Dame of Palafox.” Built partly with bricks and fittings salvaged from the Pensacola Opera House destroyed by a hurricane in 1917, the theater carries pieces of an even older Pensacola landmark within its walls.
