Day of the Dead Immersion

6 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

Celebrate Día de Muertos through an authentic cultural journey co-hosted by Luna Tours & Hiking and Planeta Cacao, available exclusively from October 28 to November 7. This small-group experience offers a deep, genuine connection to one of Mexico’s most sacred traditions.

At Planeta Cacao, you will help build a traditional ofrenda by placing a photo of your loved ones among marigolds and candles. You’ll explore the spiritual connection of native cacao through artisanal tastings, followed by a seasonal meal of homemade tamales, warm champurrado, pan de muerto, and agua de jamaica.

Capture memories in our festive setup with a complimentary Catrina headband or Catrín hat. To conclude, your certified guide will lead a respectful walk through local cemeteries to witness how families honor their ancestors firsthand.
