Come with us on a half-day off-road adventure through the wild landscapes around Veliko Tarnovo. You’ll drive an ATV/QUAD along carefully selected trails, combining forest roads, open terrain and scenic viewpoints before reaching one of the region’s beautiful waterfalls.

What makes this experience special is the combination of real off-road driving and discovering places that are difficult to reach on a typical sightseeing tour. Along the way, you’ll enjoy changing landscapes, fresh air and plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos and experience the surroundings at your own pace. It’s an adventure designed for people who want to actively explore the region, not just see it from a vehicle window.

The meeting point is at ul. Novite Lozya 4, Arbanasi, between the Horse riding "Kaloyan" and "Kaloyanova fortress" just outside of Arbanasi. We can pick you up from Veliko Tarnovo for 20 euro per vehicle (up to 4 people).

What to expect

Start at our base in Arbanasi, where you will sign the rental agreement, receive safety equipment and take part in a detailed briefing. Every driver then completes a short practice session on our training track under the instructor’s guidance. No previous off-road experience is required.

Embark on an adventure that includes scenic countryside, forest trails and off-road terrain on the way to a beautiful monastery and waterfall. We will visit Lyaskovets Monastery "Sv. Sv. Peter and Paul" and the Hotnitsa waterfall.

The whole experience lasts about 3 and a half - 4 hours. It starts with 30 minute safety equipment, brief and practice. After that you continue with around 1 and a half hour tour to the monastery and waterfall, with around 1 hour off-road included. You have around 30 minute break at the waterfall. We then head back to our base on normal road. We include more off-road trails if there is enough time left.

The experience combines the excitement of driving an ATV/QUAD with the chance to explore places away from the usual tourist routes. Along the way, there are opportunities to enjoy panoramic views, take photos and experience the natural surroundings up close. Reaching the waterfall adds a memorable destination to the adventure, making the tour much more than just an ATV ride.
