This private tour is built around your choice of sunset viewpoint. You visit both Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, and we adjust the order and timing according to where you want to watch the sun go down.

Choose Sugarloaf for Rio’s classic sunset experience, with wide coastal views, Guanabara Bay and a lively atmosphere as the city lights begin to appear. Choose Christ the Redeemer for a higher, broader view across Rio, a less traditional setting and the chance to see the statue illuminated as evening falls.

The extended option includes transportation to a restaurant in Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon, waiting time for your driver and a private ride back afterward. Dinner, drinks, service charges and other restaurant expenses are not included.

    Ride the Corcovado Train through the Tijuca Forest to reach Christ the Redeemer, one of Rio’s most iconic landmarks. Walk around the monument, take photos and enjoy wide views over the city, Guanabara Bay, Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the beaches and the surrounding mountains. If Christ is your chosen sunset viewpoint, watch the late-afternoon light change across Rio as the city begins to glow below, then see the statue illuminated as evening falls.

    Sugarloaf Mountain

    Travel by cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain and enjoy panoramic views of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, Niterói and the Atlantic coastline. Explore the viewpoints, take photos and see Christ the Redeemer in the distance. If Sugarloaf is your chosen sunset location, stay as daylight fades and the city lights begin to appear below.
