We are local photographers who know Sydney well. Our PhotoWalks are designed to help you learn creative photography using your phone, without any experience. Its hands-on and you receive lots of one-to-one attention. It's fun and social. A great way to make like-minded friends.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please note: The PhotoWalk starts at 10 am sharp. Please arrive 15 mins before the workshop begins. We meet outside the pub. At that time of the morning, we will most likely be the only group outside the pub. Look for Colin, your photo guide. He is tall and he's usually wearing a hat.
What to expect
Our meeting point is the Exchange Hotel; a heritage-listed pub dating back to the 1880s. We will set off on foot from the Exchange Hotel to explore the back lanes of Balmain and to discover the colonial architecture, street art and community spirit of this fascinating inner-Sydney suburb.
Your photo guide, Colin will lead you on a creative journey and teach you how to use easy features on your phone for creative photography. Colin will also show you how to use a free editing app, to turn your photos into extraordinary artworks.
We finish the Photo Walk back at The Exchange at 1 pm, just in time for lunch.
Please note: Food and drinks are not included.
Suitable for all phone types and all photographic skill levels. Non-photographers are also welcome.
