Continue to Río Lagartos, a protected natural area known for its mangroves, lagoons, and diverse wildlife. Board a boat and cruise through the reserve while taking in the natural surroundings and looking for local bird species, including flamingos. The boat ride offers an opportunity to observe the reserve’s ecosystems from the water and appreciate the wildlife in its natural environment. Depending on the season and natural conditions, you may see different bird species along the way. The experience also includes a traditional Mayan mud bath, where you can apply mineral-rich mud to your skin before rinsing off and continuing with the tour.
