Your journey begins at the historic stone building, Sign of the Takahe. Next, marvel at breathtaking views of the Canterbury Plains and Lyttelton Harbour from the Sign of the Bellbird Scenic Reserve. Stroll the Governors Bay Jetty before relaxing over morning or afternoon at Cass Bay.
We'll then visit the historic port township of Lyttelton, where you can explore boutique shops and heritage architecture. At Evans Pass lookout, uncover the port's fascinating links to Antarctic exploration. Your tour concludes at beautiful Sumner Beach, with time to wander the waterfront before enjoying a convenient drop-off at your accommodation or the city centre.

1Sign of the Takahe - Weddings & Functions
The Sign of the Takahe is a historic rest house that survived the 2010-2011 earthquakes but required extensive restorations to preserve its integrity and charm. This building represents a vital piece of history and where you can enjoy scenic views. A 15-minute drive up Dyers Pass Road along Summit Road brings us to the next location.

6Sumner Beach (Cave Rock)
The final stop is the seaside suburb of Sumner, where you can take a relaxed stroll along the beach, explore the village, or simply unwind by the ocean before returning to Christchurch. A 20-minute drive takes us back to the city centre.
