Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel north through Kenya’s scenic central highlands, passing through the equator and rural landscapes en route to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by some relaxation before an afternoon game drive. Explore the reserve's unique semi-arid ecosystem, home to the "Samburu Special Five"—Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in Samburu National Reserve with early morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve offers excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and numerous bird species along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Between activities, relax at the lodge and take in the stunning views of the rugged Samburu landscape. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the renowned Sweetwaters area. Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the conservancy on a game drive. Highlights include sightings of black and white rhinos, chimpanzees at the sanctuary, and a variety of plains game. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your Sweetwaters accommodation.
Following breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. The park is famous for its rhino populations, Rothschild’s giraffes, tree-climbing lions, and abundant birdlife around the lake. Enjoy beautiful views of the lake and surrounding escarpments before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving in the afternoon. Following lunch and some time to relax, embark on a game drive across Amboseli’s vast plains. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, offering one final opportunity to photograph wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for breakfast before departing for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with wonderful memories of Kenya’s diverse landscapes and wildlife experiences.
