A half day tour that introduces you to the most important products of the area: olive oil and wine. Start your day with a relaxing walk through the olive trees of the 13th century catsle of Androusa to admire the natural landscape… then visit a multi-awarded winery and an olive oil mill, to find out the procedure of production and quality characteristics. Complete your gastronomic tour with a revealing olive oil tasting & wine workshop accompanied with small gourmet olive oil dishes(mezedes) and a traditional lunch!

Meeting and pickup
Our meeting point is the Castle of Androusa, located 20km away from kalamata and 12 km away from Ancient Messene. Park on the main road and we meet just infront of the sign "Castle of Androusa"
What to expect
Visit a local winery to observe the production of Greek wine varieties and enjoy a guided tasting of at least three different wines, discovering their unique aromas and flavors.
In the heart of Androusa Village, explore a modern olive oil mill and be guided through the olive oil extraction and storage process, learning about the key quality characteristics of olive oil.
Visit a traditional olive oil mill established in 1904. Travel back in time and discover the deep olive-growing roots of the area.
Participate in a hands-on olive oil tasting and food-pairing workshop, led by a certified olive oil sommelier. Taste different olive varieties and learn to recognize what defines extra virgin olive oil.
The day is filled with new knowledge, authentic experiences, and emotions, concluding with a traditional full lunch featuring fresh vegetables and genuine local flavors.
