My name is Hernâni Magahães, I am the Field Guide who will accompany you in this 4-hour experience, developed for a very specific Listing of vacationer: one who has little time but demands to leave the territory with knowledge.
Most people need days to start understanding the vastness of the Air Seals and Lamps, in this half-day surgical expedition we go straight to the anatomy of the rock. In just one morning or afternoon, I will take you to the points that shape the Natural Park of the Serras de Aire and Landeeiros, in the heart of Central Portugal.
However, time has its limits. The overwhelming majority of our customers end up preferring our 1-day Private Expedition, the 4x4 SUV Natural Park, as it is the only one that offers the overview, connecting geology to the living ecosystem.

Station 1: Roofing of Mendiga Water Visit one of the park’s most fascinating and least known corners: natural formations carved by centuries of groundwater infiltrations. A place without signs or crowds, preserved in its pure state. Stop 2 : Valley of Means (Fingerprints of Outdoor Dinosaurs) Avoid the museum queues. Walk side by side with real trails of fossil footprints left 175 million years ago by 30-ton sauropods as you discover how this ancient dungeon turned into a mountain. Station 3: The "Mar de Pedra" (Planalto Calcario) Climb to the top of the hill aboard our 4x4 SUV. Walk on an impressive plateau that extends like a frozen ocean made of rock and learn to decipher the history of the Earth written directly under your feet.
