We will visit the following places of interest: 1. War Remnants Museum – where you can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting the second Indochina war. 2. Cathedral Notre-Dame – Established by French colonists who initially named it the Church of Saigon (French: l’Eglise de Saïgon), the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. 3. Central Post Office – was constructed from 1886 to 1891 and depicts classic elements of Gothic, Renaissance and French colonial design. 4. Ben Thanh Market – is one of the oldest markets in Ho Chi Minh City. It had appeared before the French invaded Saigon (former name of Ho Chi Minh City), built at the beginning of the 17th century for small traders to exchange their goods on Ben Nghe River’s bank, next to a harbor near Gia Dinh Citadel. 5.
