Cycling at Kulen Mountain is unique because it combines adventure with rich history and culture, offering a journey through lush forests to discover ancient ruins, waterfalls, and religious sites. Riders can explore paths with a blend of dirt, sand, and single trails, encountering historical landmarks like the River of a Thousand Lingas and the giant reclining Buddha at Preah Ang Thom, as well as refreshing spots like the Kulen Waterfall.

Ancient temples and ruins: You can discover numerous ancient temples, some hidden or partially buried, such as Prasat Krabei Krab Temple.
Religious sites: It's a holy mountain with religious significance, featuring sites like the giant reclining Buddha at Preah Ang Thom monastery and the River of a Thousand Lingas, which has ancient carvings along its riverbed.

Hundreds of phallic symbols (lingas) dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva are carved into the riverbed, located on the way to the top of the mountain.The site is considered a holy spiritual place where pilgrims seek blessings.It is accessible via a moderate hike through the jungle.

3Preah Ang Thom pagoda

4Phnom Kulen Waterfall
There are two main waterfalls at Phnom Kulen. The lower, more accessible waterfall is wider, dropping 4 to 5 meters.The upper waterfall is taller, dropping 15 to 20 meters, and is more secluded.Both waterfalls have natural pools for swimming and are popular picnic spots.

5Phnom Kulen Waterfall
The "1000 Linga" on Kulen Mountain refers to the carvings in the Kbal Spean archaeological site, which include over a thousand linga (phallic symbols of the Hindu god Shiva) and other mythological figures carved into the riverbed and banks of the Siem Reap River. These carvings date back to the 11th and 12th centuries and are considered sacred, believed to purify the water and make it fertile.
