We will drive for 20 minutes extra and will get in to the north entrance to the Cotopaxi National Park. There is a tiny local store with souvenirs and local textiles if you want to bring a gift from the Cotopaxi Nationak Park. Regarding our itinerary, we will drive 35 minutes to get to the parking lot. Our hiking activity will begin there. An elevation gain from 14763ft to 15958ft to get to the José Ribas high camp and have the best view of the Andes. This is a demanding hike but taking a slow pase, we can do it. All our guides are so patient. Water, candies and some stops to breathe are the trick to get there. Just in case you don’t want to try it, there is another option for hiking in the Limpiopungo Lagoon at 12800ft. It is a flat and easy going trail. We can hike the loop of the Lagoon. 1.15 hours. This is beautiful spot for Birdwatching and see a lot of flora of the area. If you don't like hikes, no worries. We know great spots to take wonderful photos and save beautiful memories.
