Day 1
Puerto Maldonado – Eco Full Adventures - Monkey Island

Monkey Island
Reception at the airport, bus station or hotel in Puerto Maldonado, transfer you to our office, then departure to the river port where we will take the boat, which will take us to arrive to our lodge 40 minutes navigating along the Madre de Dios River, Welcome meeting, with a delicious local fruit juice and to know our installation and facilities in your eco private lodge. Our first adventure will be going to the hanging high canopy bridge and zip lines, where we will reach a tower and stairwaythat ascends to the treetops and marks the start of the zip line. After lunch, we take the kayaks well protected and accompanied by a motor boat that guarantees extra security. Getting monkey island you will appreciate a great diversity of monkeys such as the capuchin and more. We will put on a show of swinging through the treetops in order to accept food food from your hand. Back to the lodge, nocturnal activity in order to do a caiman spotting in the river, back to the lodge and dinner.

Day 2
Sandoval Lake Full Day Exploring - Night walking

Lago Sandoval
After a great breakfast, and distributed to each traveler lunch and snacks, we will take our boat to get to the control of Tambopata National Reserve, after 1 and half hour walking through the rainnforest we are approaching to the famous Sandoval Lake, one of the largest in the Tambopata Reserve. This lake offers a spectacular view of the landscape and we will see many wild animals. Once at the lake, we will take a rowing boat ride and enjoy the wide variety of birds and monkeys such as the shanshos, (prehistoric bird), cormorants, herons, howler monkeys, squirrel monkey, black capuchin monkey, turtles. With luck we will encounter perhaps a small group of Giant Otters and caimans too. During this activity, we will spend few hours in canoe on this one of the most beautiful lakes in region. Return to the lodge, and resting. At evening, we will get a night walk. At this time, the jungle comes alive, offering a wide variety of insects, amphibians making it a perfect end in the Amazon.

Lago Sandoval
In terms of ecotourism, Lake Sandoval is considered the most beautiful lake in the Peruvian rainforest. This lake covers an area of 3 km long by 1 km wide, and its depth ranges between half a meter and three meters. The lake is shaped like a crescent moon, and its waters generally reach a temperature of 26°C. Fauna. It is a wildlife sanctuary (giant otter or river wolf, black caiman, several species of macaws and parrots, kingfishers, turtles, monkeys, herons, and cranes, among other rainforest fauna). It is a biodiversity reserve with more than 1,000 species of birds.

Day 3
Parrots and Parakeet´s Clay Lick - Puerto Maldonado

Collpa "La Cachuela"
Early morning will get up starting 4:30 am for visit a Parrots clay lick that is about 1 hour upstream located, also best time to see sunrise, once will arrive we need to way for parrots to come from differents locations, that nature show will be aproximatly 30 minutes, in the way back will try to find some birds like toucans and with luck the ever sought after 2 and 3 toed sloth. At about 7:00 am we back to the lodge, have breakfast and return to Puerto Maldonado.
