Transportation Information: Complimentary round-trip transportation is included only when you select the tour option that includes transportation. If you book the Guide Service Only option and later require transportation, last-minute transfers may be available for an additional US$15 per person (round trip), subject to availability and within our regular service area. This fee can be paid in cash directly to the driver before departure.
Meeting Point: Meet your expert local guide at the main reception of Curi-Cancha Reserve, Monteverde. Park in the official visitor lot and check in at reception. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to enjoy the best birdwatching, wildlife, and nature photography experience.
What to expect
This immersive 2–3 hour guided walk explores diverse habitats where colorful hummingbirds, vibrant tanagers, toucanets, and the iconic Resplendent Quetzal thrive alongside dozens of fascinating species. With excellent bird activity throughout the reserve, it's common to record 30–40 bird species on a single tour.
