Road and tramway bridge over the Vltava river in Prague, Czech Republic. It connects the Aleš Embankment and Rudolfinum to the Lesser Quarter (Malá Strana) and replaced the previous Rudolf footbridge built in 1869. The bridge is named after the Czech painter Josef Mánes.

What else to say? The legendary Charles Bridge! Built by Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV., finished in 15th century, complemended by two rows of statues of saints in 17th century. The bridge replaced the old Judith Bridge built 1158–1172 that had been badly damaged by a flood in 1342. This new bridge was originally called Stone Bridge or Prague Bridge but has been referred to as "Charles Bridge" since 1870.

Serves as the entrance to the Old Town of Prague. A statue of Charles IV. serves as a memorial to the Holy Roman Emperor, who's name is the bridge representing today.
