There’s something special about seeing Cabo from the water, but whale season brings an entirely different experience. Head into the Pacific in search of humpback and gray whales as they migrate through the waters of Los Cabos, with the chance to see mothers swimming alongside their calves.
Your crew will help you spot the whales and share interesting facts about their behavior and migration. This seasonal experience operates exclusively from December 15 through March 31, when these incredible animals visit the region during their annual migration.
Between sightings, enjoy views of the Arch and Cabo’s Pacific coastline, along with an open bar and onboard food — egg burritos, fresh fruit and coffee on the 9:00 AM departure, or mini baguettes and fresh fruit on the 12:00 PM departure.
Choose a morning or afternoon departure, add convenient hotel transportation if you prefer, and enjoy Cabo during one of the most exciting times of the year.

Meeting and pickup
Hotel Transportation: If you selected transportation, please provide the name of your hotel at the time of booking. Your pickup time will be confirmed after we receive your reservation, as pickup times vary depending on your hotel location. Please be in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before your confirmed pickup time. Your driver will arrive in a shared transportation van to take you to the marina.
Transportation must be reserved and confirmed at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour date to ensure service.
Marina Meeting Point: Guests making their own way to the marina may check in directly at Gali Plaza. If hotel information is not provided at the time of booking, this will also be your meeting point. Please arrive 30 minutes before your tour departure time at Gali Plaza, Local 39, Blvd. Paseo de la Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, directly across from the entrance to Hotel Sandos Finisterra.
Cruise Ship Guests: Cruise guests are welcome! Please make your way to Gali Plaza in the Cabo San Lucas marina area and arrive 30 minutes before departure. If your ship is tendering, please allow enough time to come ashore and reach the meeting point.
Please be at our check-in desk at least 30 minutes prior to departure. The Check-in desk is located in Gali Plaza (local 39) across from the entrance to the Hotel Sandos Finisterra. Our staff will be wearing khaki slacks and white polo shirt.

1Los Cabos
Begin your day with convenient hotel pickup when you select the transportation option, available from Cabo San Lucas, the Tourist Corridor, and San José del Cabo. Pickup generally begins approximately 45 minutes before the tour, depending on your hotel location. If you selected the tour without transportation, make your own way to the check-in location at Gali Plaza and arrive at least 20 minutes before departure. This is a seasonal whale-watching experience, available from December 15 through March 31, during the annual whale migration through Los Cabos. Choose between a 9:00 AM or 12:00 PM departure, subject to availability, and get ready to head out into Cabo San Lucas Bay during one of the most exciting times of the year.

2Los Cabos
Set sail for approximately 2 hours of whale watching along the coast of Los Cabos, searching for humpback and gray whales during their annual migration. Your crew will help you spot the whales and share interesting facts about their behavior along the way. Enjoy views of the Arch, surrounding beaches, marine life, and the Pacific coastline as you cruise. The 9:00 AM departure includes egg burritos, fresh fruit salad, and coffee, while the 12:00 PM departure includes mini baguettes and fresh fruit salad. Both include an open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Every cruise is different when watching wildlife in its natural environment — and that’s part of the experience. After returning to the marina, guests who selected transportation will be transferred back to their hotel.

- We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a light jacket, particularly for the morning departure or cooler days.
