06:30: The bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. (Note: Our bus can also pick you up at Noi Bai Airport or another location in the city. Please inform us in advance.) 11:00: The bus will stop in Tuyen Quang City for a break. 13:30: The bus arrives in Ha Giang City. Enjoy lunch at our restaurant. Afterward, the bus will drop you off at your hotel for check-in and some rest.
15:00: The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel to explore the city, visiting: Km0 Square Ha Giang Museum Nui Cam Mountain View Thanh Thuy - Chinese Border Thon Tha and Ha Thanh Village: This small, beautiful village, about 6 km from Ha Giang City, is inhabited by the Tay people. You will find ancient houses on stilts, terraced rice fields, and a stunning waterfall – perfect for a leisurely walk. 19:00: Enjoy dinner and return to the hotel. Then, you’ll have some free time to relax.
06:30: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. 07:30: The car and tour guide will pick you up. Immediately after, embark on a sightseeing trip along the Ha Giang Loop: Bac Sum Pass – The first slope welcoming you to the “Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.” We’ll simply drive through this point. Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba – Stop to capture the picturesque view of the Nui Doi twin mountains at the top of the slope. Can Ty Pass – At an altitude of 1000-1200 meters above sea level, marvel at the breathtaking and majestic scenery.
12:00: Enjoy a local food lunch in the small town of Yen Minh before continuing the trip: Tham Ma Pass – Stop at the summit of the slope to enjoy the stunning landscape. To reach this point, you’ll traverse 9 interesting passages. Sung La Valley and Lung Cam Village – Explore this small village featuring classic Hmong houses, including a visit to Pao’s house. Hmong King’s Palace – This historically significant site was the residence of the most powerful Hmong people and features distinct Chinese architectural style. 17:00: Arrive in Dong Van Town and check into the hotel. Dong Van District marks Vietnam's starting point, sharing a border with China. The area is home to various ethnic minorities, predominantly Hmong (about 70%). Dong Van Old Quarter, a historic trading center, remains vibrant, especially on Sunday mornings with a bustling local market.
Previously, Lung Cu flagpole was built during the Ly dynasty with the shape of just a sa moc tree. By 1887, France rebuilt it. Then in 1992, 2000 and especially 2002, this flagpole was restored many times with the size and scale increasing over time. Including the year 2002, at that time the flagpole was erected with a height of about 20m, the base and pedestal of the pole were hexagonal shaped and at the base of the pole were 6 reliefs depicting the surface of Dong Son bronze drums. Moreover, at the top of the flagpole there is a 9m high flagpole, with the Vietnamese national flag 9m long, 6m wide and a total area of 54 square meters. Lung Cu flagpole is one of the most attractive tourist attractions in Ha Giang.
