What to expect

The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is about 85 km northeast of Beijing. It was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) on the remnants of a wall originally built in the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577). It used to serve as the northern barrier, defending the capital and Ming tombs.

Private Transfer
Your friendly private driver picks you up in the hotel lobby and takes you to the Great Wall at Mutianyu (85 km away from Beijing city, 1.5 hours driving time). Then, discover the beauty of Mutianyu with an optional cable car or toboggan ride based on your own preference. After this wonderful self-guided tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Combo Ticket
Pre-book your ticket (access to entrance, shuttle bus, two-way cable car) to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and enjoy a hassle-free visit. Avoid the long lines and the need to carry cash by booking online. Simply show your passport to gain access and explore the wall at your own pace. After entering the scenic area, take the shuttle bus to the foot of the wall. Then, hop on the cable car to reach the Wall and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
