Visit Sawada Sake Brewery, an independent sake brewery established in 1848. Learn about the history of sake brewing, Chita’s fermentation culture, and the brewery’s dedication to traditional craftsmanship while touring the historic facilities. Your visit also includes a souvenir set featuring a 300ml bottle of Hakurou Tokubetsu Junmai, a miniature sake cup, and a traditional sake lees snack to enjoy at home.
Enjoy an exclusive lunch created by Chef Watanabe, recipient of the prestigious Cuisine Masters award and featured in the international restaurant guide Gault & Millau. Seasonal ingredients sourced from across the Chita Peninsula are presented on beautiful Tokoname pottery, including pieces from the BAN collection you explored earlier. Each course is thoughtfully paired with local beverages, including premium sake from Sawada Sake Brewery, creating a memorable expression of Chita’s food culture. Relax during the drive back to Nagoya. Drop-off at Chubu Centrair International Airport is also available upon request instead of returning to the city. Your gastronomic journey concludes upon arrival in Nagoya.
