Visit Sawada Sake Brewery, a historic brewery founded in 1848, for a guided tour led by the brewery owner. Step inside the brewery and learn about Chita’s sake-making heritage, the traditional techniques behind its production, and the role fermentation has played in the region’s food culture. Although alcoholic tastings are not included during the brewery visit, you will receive a 300 ml bottle of “Hakuro,” a small sake cup, and sake lees snacks to take home.
Travel by private vehicle to Le Coeuryuzu for your special pairing lunch. Dine at Le Coeuryuzu, an acclaimed restaurant featured in a leading Japanese gourmet guide. Award-winning Chef Watanabe creates a special course showcasing carefully selected seasonal ingredients from the Chita Peninsula and surrounding region, allowing the natural character of each ingredient to shine. Enjoy the course with a curated beverage pairing, including local sake from Sawada Sake Brewery. Experience how local ingredients and carefully selected drinks complement one another, bringing the flavors of Chita together at the table. Travel back to Nagoya by private vehicle. Drop-off at Chubu Centrair International Airport can also be arranged, approximately 30 minutes from the restaurant.
