    El Torcal de Antequera

We will travel together the Ammonites Route, the most emblematic path of the Torcal. On the ground and on the rock walls you will find the fossils of the ammonites that lived under the Tethys Sea more than 150 million years ago. The local guide will explain how this limestone labyrinth was formed by karst erosion and what wild fauna inhabits today among its cliffs: mountain goats, lion vultures and wild orchids. At the end of the route, we stop at the best viewpoint to contemplate the sunset over the Vega de Antequera and enjoy a snack with local products.
