Venture into the lush Barbas Bremen forest in search of howler monkeys living freely in their natural habitat. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, we’ll hike through the forest while learning about its fascinating ecosystem, native plants, trees, birds, wildlife, and the important role this protected environment plays in the Coffee Region. Listen carefully for the powerful calls of the howler monkeys echoing through the forest as we search for opportunities to observe them among the treetops. Along the way, we’ll also visit a beautiful waterfall of approximately 20 meters, where you can slow down, enjoy the sounds of flowing water, and connect with the peaceful surroundings. As these are wild animals in their natural habitat, sightings cannot be guaranteed—making every encounter a truly special moment.

After our adventure in the Barbas Bremen forest, we’ll continue to the colorful town of Filandia for a well-deserved lunch at Helena Adentro, one of the Coffee Region’s renowned restaurants, where local ingredients and Colombian flavors come together in a creative culinary experience. After lunch, enjoy an exceptional Colombian coffee grown in the Andean mountains before exploring Filandia’s charming streets, traditional architecture, artisan shops, and relaxed local atmosphere.
