CLASSIC INSURANCE – MOUNTAIN RESCUE
Classic Insurance, provided by Asociación Socorro Andino Peruano (S.A.P.), is designed for trekkers, climbers, mountaineers, and adventure travelers in remote and high-altitude environments.
The plan provides up to USD 30,000 in protection for eligible search and rescue, technical mountain rescue, emergency evacuation, and related assistance, subject to the plan’s terms and conditions.
Emergency operations may involve specialized rescue teams, technical equipment, ground transportation, and helicopter evacuation when operationally available.

Meeting and pickup
Our main office is a 3-minute walk from the Plaza de Armas, at Avenida Luzuriaga 478, 2nd Floor, Huaraz. We are next to Don Vito Chicken Restaurant and La Curacao. Reference: Farmacia Recuay, in the city center.
What to expect
In case of an accident, disappearance, injury, or serious emergency, our team coordinates the appropriate rescue response according to the location, terrain, weather, accessibility, and circumstances.
Operations may include search and rescue, technical mountain rescue, emergency evacuation, patient transportation, communications, and coordination with local authorities and emergency services. Helicopter evacuation may be coordinated when operationally available.
The service is coordinated from Huaraz, Peru, and may operate in the Cordillera Blanca and other mountain regions of Peru, depending on the emergency location and applicable conditions.
Important: This is an emergency SAR service, not a sightseeing tour or guided excursion.
