Your safari begins with an early pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Enjoy a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across Amboseli’s vast plains—home to large elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Begin the day with a peaceful sunrise game drive as wildlife awakens across the reserve, often offering the clearest views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s majestic peak. Observe the famous large elephant herds around the lush swamps and seasonal water points, alongside buffalos and a variety of unique birdlife. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and enjoy some leisure time—perhaps relaxing by the pool or terrace, soaking in the iconic views. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive across the sweeping savannah, rocky outcrops, and seasonal floodplains. Afterward, continue with an exciting game drive through Tsavo West's dramatic scenery. 4Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Depart Ngulia after breakfast and travel to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Your arrival is at the world-famous Salt Lick Safari Lodge, an architectural marvel featuring stilted rooms linked by elevated walkways. This unique design allows for panoramic views over a constantly busy watering hole. After lunch, head out for an extensive afternoon game drive within the private sanctuary.
