1Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
In the morning, we offer pickup from the lobby of your downtown Beijing hotel. If you book the group tour, please meet your guide at the Grand Hotel Beijing. Our first stop will be Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest city-center square. Along iconic Chang’an Avenue, you can view the Great Hall of the People and the National Museum of China (originally known as the Museum of Chinese History and Revolution). The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall stands at the centre of the square.

4Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
From the Tiananmen Gate you can walk towards the Forbidden City (the biggest Imperial Palace in world). There are 9999.5 rooms inside, and with over 600 years history. There were total 24 Chinese emperors who lived and ruled the country in this place from Ming dynasty to the Qing dynasty). It's worth to spend a couple of hours to visit the highlight of the Forbidden City. Note: Forbidden City is closed every monday, Summer Palace would be replaced.

8Temple of Heaven
During lunch break, your guide will take you to a local restaurant to taste authentic local cuisine (private tour only). In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, where ancient emperors worshipped the God of Heaven. You may see many local elderly residents dancing, singing or practising Tai Chi on the square — a fascinating sight. For the group tour, the tour terminates at the Temple of Heaven; you can stay there for independent exploration. Private tour guests may request transfer back to their downtown hotel after visiting the Temple of Heaven.
