Meeting and pickup

You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

We offer round-trip transportation within a 1-hour radius of the Mount Desert Island section of the park. If you're staying outside of our pick up zone, you can opt to meet your guide in Bar Harbor. You'll leave your personal vehicle and ride in our tour vehicle for the day. After your tour, you'll be taken back to your car!

What to expect

Wake up before the sun for a hike or drive up Cadillac Mountain – one of the first places the sun’s rays hit in the United States. You’ll meet your guide while the sun is still down and head up the mountain’s summit where you can sip on a hot coffee or eat some tasty snacks while watching the sky colors slowly change.

After sunrise, you can visit some of the park’s most popular spots before the crowds and return by late morning! Please note that tours may last 4-6 hours, and pickup times may be as early at 3:30am in the summer!
