More than an astronomical tour, this is a private experience designed for travelers seeking exclusivity, nature and authentic connection to the Elqui Valley.
Each outing receives only between 1 and 6 participants, creating an intimate environment that allows to adapt the pace of the walk and offer completely personalized attention.
The experience combines sunset hiking, meditation with bowls, Andean sounds, astronomical interpretation, indigenous worldview and skywatching with professional binoculars, integrating wellness, science and cultural heritage in one activity.
The astrophotography session under one of the most transparent skies on the planet, creates a unique memory of a connection experience with nature and the universe.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Villaseca Vicuña, Elqui Valley. Calle Navarino 241, Casa Pumagui. You must show up 15 minutes before the departure time. Delays over 10 minutes are out of the experience. Must be on time. "Check location details well before booking."
What to expect
We will start at Casa Pumagui with a brief introduction and safety recommendations before starting a moderate level hike to a spectacular natural viewpoint. There we will watch the sunset over the mountains of the Elqui Valley as the landscape changes color.
When the first stars appear, you will live a moment of meditation and sound therapy with Tibetan bowls to fully connect with the environment. Then you will discover indigenous Andean astronomy and the ancestral relationship between desert cultures and the night sky.
You’ll learn to recognize constellations visible from the southern hemisphere while watching the firmament with professional astronomical binoculars Celestron 20x80 mounted on a tripod.
The experience ends with an astrophotography session so you can return with a unique memory of your encounter with the universe.

- Participation is prohibited for anyone attending the activity under the influence of alcohol. We reserve the right of admission.
- Participants must arrive 15 minutes before the departure time. Delays of more than 10 minutes will result in exclusion from the experience. Punctuality is required.
