Crawl through narrow, hidden passageways used for living quarters, kitchens, storage, and command centers. Walk past bomb craters left by intense air raids and see the ingenuity behind wartime survival strategies. Visit cleverly disguised trapdoors and learn about the handmade traps used during the conflict. Watch a short documentary that provides context to the history of the tunnels and witness real relics from the war. Discover how locals lived underground for months, cooking with smokeless fire and communicating through secret pathways. Try your hand at crawling through a section of the tunnel, if you wish, for a hands-on experience. Some tours may also offer a chance to sample foods eaten during the war.
