The visible remains tell the story of its foundation and development such as the famous arch, the walls and the historic buildings together with two of the most beautiful churches to also learn about the history of two brotherhoods that participated in improving the city. A modern area that fascinates people from all over the world: the market with typical and fresh products that can be tasted and bought, the typical products of the area and the fish, being the city on the sea.

2Civitavecchia Port
Walk through the ruins of the Roman port, we will stop in front of the fortress to discover its history and which artists left their contribution.

We will see the old route of one of the most important Roman roads, the Via Aurelia, to then enter the ghetto area, with its sanctuary church, the statue of victory and learn about the legends that fascinate the area. After that we will visit the archaeological museum of the city, with remains of ancient Rome and Etruscan remains. The tour ends at the exit of the museum from where it is easy to reach bars for an aperitif or restaurants for a typical Civitavecchia lunch.
