Discover the authentic art of truffle hunting in Molise, one of Italy’s most untouched and genuine regions.
This immersive experience takes place at the Di Iorio Tartufi family estate in Busso (CB), where truffle hunting traditions have been passed down for three generations.
Your journey begins with a warm welcome and a short introduction to the world of truffles : their natural environment, seasonal cycles, and the techniques used to find them. You will then head into the surrounding forests accompanied by an expert truffle hunter and highly trained dogs. Walk through natural trails and witness the unique bond between hunter and dog as they search for truffles hidden beneath the soil.
After the hunt, return to the estate for a guided food experience. Enjoy a selection of truffle-based dishes prepared with fresh seasonal truffles, paired with carefully selected local wines from the Molise region. This is a moment to relax, taste, and fully appreciate the product.

Duration of the visit: approximately 3 to 4 hours Arrival at 10:00 AM with a welcome coffee and a general introduction to truffles. Excursion in the woods accompanied by truffle-hunting dogs. Return to the company for a visit to the truffle processing and transformation laboratory. Full tasting experience featuring fresh truffles gathered during the excursion, paired with wines from Molise.
