Cross the railway line and go straight ahead — you’ll see a free parking on your right. Alternatively, keep right and follow the no-exit cobbled street to find another free parking on your left. From there, walk about 30 meters to the Meeting Point sign area, located in front of the restaurant.
The tour starts slowly, moving along the Arade River, a place of history, local culture and really beautiful landscapes.
On one side, you see Portimão — hear about its history
On the other side is Ferragudo: The old fishing heritage, described by many as “like a postcard” - The white houses, small boats, and relaxed pace stand out immediately.
Hear about its history and take a beautiful photo.
Get ready to navigate at high speed offshore, leaving Portimão behind, in search of marine wildlife - The team works together, scanning the horizon, communicating with other boats when necessary, and using their deep knowledge of the sea to locate these incredible creatures, all together with your help. Note: The dolphins are wild animals and are not tracked, so we never know where they are and therefore sightings cannot be guaranteed (we have a 98% success rate in 2025) and the duration of this part can vary.
Learn about the coastline of Lagos, characterized by a mix of rugged cliffs, sandy coves, clear turquoise waters and sea caves and grottoes; Learn about Ponta da Piedade, particularly famous for its dramatic rock formations and sea stacks. Ponta da Piedade, translated to "Point of Pity", is a natural wonder that holds a valuable set of historical, scenic and geological heritage. It is a headland with high cliffs and intricate rock formations that have been sculpted by erosion over time. The area has a lighthouse that adds to its charm and serves as a navigational aid for ships.
On the way back to the meeting point, expect a debriefing with visual guides about the species sighted from our biologist
