Our starting point! We will provide you with useful information to know before our tour and to get to know each other.
We will take beautiful and impressive photos of the beautiful Cartagena Bay, rarely visited by tourists, but very visited by boat owners. We will share interesting and updated information about the Cartagena Bay and Manga Island.
We will make a photo stop to take a picture in front of the sentry box (watch post) of the fort that protected Manga Island and the water channel towards the San Felipe de Barajas fort.
Step back in time and explore the vibrant neighborhood of Getsemaní, a cornerstone of Cartagena’s rich history. Once home to African and mulatto slaves during the colonial era, this area has witnessed the footsteps of legendary independence leaders like José María Córdova and Simón Bolívar. Wander through its colorful streets, feel the pulse of its lively culture, and uncover the stories that shaped Colombia’s fight for freedom. Join us for an unforgettable journey through the past and present of Getsemaní!
The largest fortress built by the Spanish in the American Hemisphere during the conquest, colonization and governance of Latin America.
El Mercado de Bazurto representa el mercado público y además la central de abastos de la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias.
This community near the Bazurto Market, where some of the hard workers live, is one of the expressions of a humble, hard-working community that struggles to survive. As we walk through its streets, we will discover what the lifestyle of a true Cartagena resident is like.
At the highest point of the emblematic city of Cartagena de Indias is the first fortress and surveillance point. We will be able to see it for much of the way and as we get closer we will appreciate its imposing presence.
