Visit Mutianyu Great Wall in the early morning to skip big‑group crowds. It is the best time for photos with minimal visitors.This is a small tour with no more than 15 guests. Our great meeting location in Wangfujing, Beijing ensures a high‑quality experience. We get back to downtown Beijing around 2 PM.
The Forbidden City is just 15 minutes’ walk away from the meeting spot.

Itinerary

1Mutianyu Great Wall
Your guide will pick up every guest at the meeting point in the parking lot outside Novotel Peace Beijing Hotel in Wangfujing at 7:00 AM.We will arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall around 8:45 AM. There are not many visitors at Mutianyu in the early morning. You will take the chairlift directly from the Great Wall entrance up to Watchtower No. 6. Sections of the Great Wall stretch along green mountain ranges, where you can enjoy the quiet Great Wall, stroll around and take photos at your leisure.After roughly two‑hour sightseeing on the Great Wall, we will head back to the meeting point near the ticket‑check station. Lunch will be a traditional Chinese meal with drinks included. After lunch, we return to our meeting point in Wangfujing, Beijing. The estimated arrival time is 2:30 PM.You will still have time to visit the Forbidden City afterwards. Your guide will assist you in securing same‑day entrance tickets for the Forbidden City.

- The meeting spot is in central, busy Wangfujing. It takes 3 minutes on foot from Jinyu Hutong (Line 8 Metro), and 5 minutes walking from Dengshikou (Line 5 Metro).

- The meeting spot is in central, busy Wangfujing. It takes 3 minutes on foot from Jinyu Hutong (Line 8 Metro), and 5 minutes walking from Dengshikou (Line 5 Metro).
- If there is heavy traffic, your best bet is to walk to the meeting point. Please keep WhatsApp active so we can reach you.
- According to the latest official rules, guests over 60 cannot ride the toboggan and will need to take the chairlift back to the ticket‑check point.
- If you intend to visit the Forbidden City independently after the Great Wall, please let us know the day before. The guide will secure same‑day tickets for everyone. Tickets are at your own expense.
- Lunch offers a variety of Chinese food options. Kindly let us know the day before if you need vegetarian or halal food.
- If the toboggan is closed on rainy days, everyone will take the chairlift back to the ticket‑check point from the Great Wall.
- If you’d like to stay longer at the Great Wall, you can take our partner’s bus back to Beijing Qianmen Metro Station on your own anytime between 12 PM and 5 PM.
- We can arrange an extra one‑way private car to the meeting point. RMB 200 per car, with a maximum of 4 passengers.
- We depart at 6:30 AM on Mondays. For Chinese public holidays, the start time might change to 6:00 AM, and we will inform you 7 days ahead of time.
