Your 7 Days Luxury Big Five & Great Migration Serengeti Safari Tour begins with a private morning pickup from your Arusha hotel. After a short safari briefing, you drive in a luxury 4x4 vehicle toward Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem famous for its giant baobab trees and some of Tanzania’s largest elephant herds. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive across golden savannah landscapes dotted with acacia woodlands. Tarangire is renowned for close encounters with elephants, buffalo, lions, and leopards — offering your first opportunity to spot members of the Big Five. During the dry season, wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, creating exceptional viewing and photography moments. A gourmet picnic lunch is served at a scenic site inside the park, or alternatively at a selected luxury lodge depending on your preferred style. In the late afternoon, continue exploring different habitats before exiting the park and transferring to your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast at your luxury lodge near Lake Manyara, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey itself is a scenic experience, passing through the Great Rift Valley landscapes and traditional Maasai villages before entering the vast Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive in Central Serengeti (Seronera region) by afternoon, an area renowned for year-round wildlife concentration and exceptional predator sightings. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you cross endless plains dotted with acacia trees, where lions, cheetahs, elephants, and buffalo are frequently seen. This region also offers strong opportunities to witness the Great Migration depending on the season. Continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your luxury tented camp or high-end safari lodge in the heart of the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight in refined comfort, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
After breakfast in Central Serengeti (Seronera), depart with a game drive en route toward Northern Serengeti. This transition zone offers excellent predator sightings around rocky kopjes and open plains. As you move north, landscapes become more remote and dramatic. During migration season, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra move toward the Mara River. Arrive in Northern Serengeti by afternoon and continue wildlife viewing before transferring to your luxury tented camp.
4 Spend a full day exploring Northern Serengeti, prime territory for witnessing the Great Migration river crossings (seasonal). Large Nile crocodiles wait along the Mara River while predators patrol nearby plains. Enjoy extended game drives tracking lions, cheetahs, elephants, and buffalo in this less crowded region.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before heading back toward Central Serengeti. Wildlife encounters continue along the way, with chances to see leopards in acacia trees and large elephant herds crossing the plains. Arrive in Central Serengeti in the afternoon for relaxation at your luxury lodge or an optional sunset game drive.
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Central Serengeti before departing toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive ascends into the cool highlands with stunning views over the crater rim. Arrive at your luxury lodge perched on the rim for dinner and overnight, overlooking one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders.
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater hosts one of Africa’s densest wildlife populations, offering outstanding Big Five opportunities, including the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and driving back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
