Marrakech (Pass by)
Day 1: Marrakech → Imlil → Base Camp Morning: Depart Marrakech early (around 7:00–8:00 AM). Drive to Imlil (approx. 1.5–2 hours). Imlil is the main starting point for Toubkal treks. Meet your guide and mule team if you’re using one for gear. Hike to Base Camp (Refuge Toubkal): Distance: ~10 km / 6 miles Duration: 5–6 hours Elevation gain: ~1,200 m (Imlil is ~1,740 m; Refuge is ~3,200 m) Terrain: Mountain paths, rocky sections Overnight at Refuge Toubkal or nearby guesthouse Dinner and early rest (you’ll wake up around midnight for the summit) Tip: Take it slow, drink water, and acclimatize.

Midnight – Early Morning: Wake up around 2:00 AM Start hike to summit (~1,000 m elevation gain from Refuge) Estimated 3–4 hours to reach the top At the Summit (~4,167 m): Enjoy sunrise and panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains Take photos and rest briefly Descent: Back down to Refuge Toubkal (1–2 hours) Breakfast and pack up Hike back to Imlil (4–5 hours) Drive back to Marrakech in the evening
