What to expect

Step into the heart of Italian cuisine and discover the pleasure of making pasta from scratch, surrounded by the aromas and flavors of authentic Italian cooking.

We’ll begin with pesto al mortaio, prepared traditionally by hand using a marble mortar and pestle. You’ll discover how a few simple ingredients — fresh basil, pine nuts, Parmesan, garlic and extra virgin olive oil — come together to create one of Italy’s most iconic sauces.

Then it’s time to get your hands in the dough and learn how to make fresh homemade pasta, from preparing the dough to shaping and cooking it.

To finish, we’ll enjoy a refreshing homemade sorbet, accompanied by a glass of white wine and a Limoncello Spritz — the perfect Italian toast to a shared culinary experience.

More than a cooking class, Pesto & Pasta is an invitation to slow down, cook together and experience the Italian way of gathering around the table.
