Depart Auckland and travel north by coach via the Hibiscus Coast with its golden sand beaches, through Whangarei and arrive in the beautiful township of Paihia, Bay of Islands.

Russell
By ferry you will be transported from Paihia to Russell a beautiful township immediately across the bay from Paihia. Russell being the original capital of New Zealand. In Russell a tour of the township has been arranged for your enjoyment. In Russell you will join a Mini Tour of the township.

Bay of Islands
From Russell you will join a three hour nature cruise to the famous Hole in the Rock, weather and sea conditions permitting you will sail through the hole. On the cruise you will often site dolphins and numerous sea birds. 3 hours , The cruise is included in the tour package

Paihia
The hole in the rock cruise will return you to the dock at Paihia. The remainder of the afternoon evening is at leisure to explore the township.

Bay of Islands - Auckland

Waitangi Treaty Grounds
This morning transferred from your accommodation to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds,Tour the Waitangi Treaty Grounds the site of the historic treaty between the Maori and European pioneers. A guided tour has been arranged the tour will include a magnificent Maori meeting house and war canoe. Following the guided tour enjoy a Maori Cultural performance.

Paihia
From the treaty grounds you will be transferred back to your Paihia Accommodation to collect your luggage for your onward coach journey this afternoon back to Auckland.

Departing Paihia early afternoon you will travel by coach south to Auckland a journey of approximately 3.5 hours, arriving Auckland City late afternoon. On arrival in Auckland you will be transferred to your Auckland Central City accommodation.

Auckland - Hobbiton - Rotorua

Rotorua: Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley

This morning you will be transferred toWhakarewarewa Geothermal Valley and the Living Maori Villagefor a guided tour which includes the world-famous Pōhutu geyser, boiling mud-pools, steam vents and bubbling pools. Following the tour there will be a Haka performance for your enjoyment.

From Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley you will be transferred back to your central Rotorua Accommodation with the remainder of the day to explore on your own or to do some shopping in the township or partake on one or more of the adventure activities the township is renown for.

Rotorua - Waitomo - Auckland

Departing Rotorua early afternoon you will travel from Rotorua to Auckland by road via the Waitomo Glowworm caves with a guided tour of the caves including a boat through the glowworm grotto.

• This is an independent multiday tour with guaranteed daily departures, on each day of travel you will be travelling with a different driver / guide and different passengers.

• On days one and two the travel is in a large coach and the passenger numbers may at any given time exceed 35 people. On days three four and five the vehicles are smaller and the passenger numbers will not exceed 15 on any given day.
