What to expect
The Sé Catedral de Évora anchors the route — Portugal's largest medieval cathedral, part fortress, part church. Riddles climb from cloister legends to rooftop views.
On Praça do Giraldo, trivia flows with the fountain: this arcaded square has hosted markets, executions and everything in between.
Jardim Diana offers the closing act, a garden terrace beside the Roman temple's columns, with the Alentejo plains stretching beyond.
Around two hours covers the old town comfortably. When the final points post, celebrate with a pastel and a bica nearby.
